Board members help guide our organization's future, support our mission, and ensure that the voices and experiences of parents and caregivers help shape the decisions we make.
We welcome parents and caregivers with lived experience raising children or young adults with emotional, behavioral, mental health, or substance use challenges, as well as community members who share our mission and want to make a difference.At least 51% of our Board of Directors is made up of parents and caregivers with qualifying lived experience, ensuring family voices remain central to our leadership.
Board members help guide FIC's strategic direction, provide financial oversight, support fundraising efforts, and advocate for the families we serve. Members are expected to actively participate in board meetings, serve on committees or workgroups, attend occasional events, and support the organization's mission.
