Kelly Carbello

Kelly Carbello is "mom" to 2 delightful children who receive services in the public mental health system. Kelly is an Arizona native who earned a bachelor’s of Psychology and a master's of Social Work at Arizona State University. Kelly has been involved with the public mental health system as a parent, a child of a parent receiving services, a service recipient, a direct services provider, a clinical supervisor, a policy analyst, a consultant, and a fierce advocate. Recently Kelly developed a "nothing about us without us" guide for schools and parents to start safely incorporating the community in planning activities, and works with state agency leaders in developing inclusive school safety solutions and strategies.
